Chauffez Vert and Rénoclimat:

Government Grants for Your Heating and Air Conditioning

To encourage homeowners to make energy-efficient renovations to their homes, the government added measures to the Chauffez Vert and Rénoclimat programs in Greater Montreal. These will incentivize homeowners to make renovations through financial assistance.

When you make eco-friendly purchases, the federal and provincial governments offer a variety of subsidies to help ease the cost!

The goal of the Chauffez vert program is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by promoting energy efficiency. Meanwhile, the Rénoclimat program aims to improve the energy performance of buildings by reducing their consumption of energy. Montreal is taking essential steps towards becoming more environmentally sustainable by implementing these measures.

To apply, you will need your property tax number and proof of residence, such as a government-issued ID or utility bill, so keep these documents safe!

The Rénoclimat Grant
